Physiotherapy

Guided by the science of your body’s movement we help you to achieve your physical activity and overall health goals.

What we treat

Physiotherapists have long understood that movement is medicine: we focus on movement to help you with the pain or functional limitations that you may be experiencing in your daily life.

Physiotherapy is not just limited to the management of acute and chronic conditions, but also includes the prevention of injury and disability, and the promotion of health and wellbeing.

Physiotherapists are known for their ability to help you with problems related to your bones, muscles, and ligaments. However, they can also help you with disability related to your lungs, heart, or bladder. Physiotherapy can help treat a range of conditions related to these systems.

Treatment Modalities

Manual Therapy

A hands on approach used to diagnose and treat the area’s requiring attention in the body. This might include soft tissue techniques or gentle joint mobilization.

Therapeutic Exercise

Use prescribed movement and exercises to help correct the issue creating your complaint or prevent it from returning.

Therapeutic Modalities

Therapeutic ultrasound, electrotherapeutic modalities, and therapeutic laser are utilized to assist pain control and augment the tissue-healing process.

Education

Understand what is happening in your body to create your complaint and receive advice to help take your care into your own hands.

Bracing and Supports

There are many tools that can help manage pain and improve function. Bracing and assistive devices can help prevent and recover from injuries.

Return to Sports

By addressing poor movement patterns and strength deficits we bridge the gap between rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.

Getting started

We always begin with an initial consultation to understand the nature of your concern and to establish a treatment plan together. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
